Welcome to Critter Clicks Photography! I’m Nicole, the human behind the lens. 

Photography has been a love of mine for as long as I can remember, it feels like a natural extension of how I see the world. My journey has been massively shaped by my connection to animals and a desire to capture them in a way that feels raw and evocative— a blend of portraiture and art that depicts my subject as the main character and makes the viewer feel something. 

Photography is my creative sanctuary, I love the infinite possibility every time I take out my camera and how, through a blend of light, energy, and emotion, a story is captured. Each animal has their own rhythm and energy and my goal is to portray that in a way that feels authentic and honours their connection with the world around them. I'm completely self-taught and feel like that has given my work a unique perspective. 

When I’m not behind the camera or working my day job, you’ll likely find me surrounded by my own pets (of which there are many) or looking after other people's pets as part of the pet care business I run with my wife.
